In 2017, Pistoiesi Pelletterie acquired the license for the brand, once again producing fully made-in-Italy quality products. However, the brand ownership remains with a Japanese investment fund.

The Products

Gherardini produces all of its bags in Italy, in its Scandicci workshop. Not only does the brand benefit from top designers who, season after season, create refined and uniquely elegant models, but it is also responsible for introducing the revolutionary softy fabric to the leather goods industry. This ultra-lightweight, soft, durable, and tear-resistant material is the result of engineers creating a fabric made from 100% cotton coated with two layers of polyurethane adhesive and color. In addition to the softy line, Gherardini offers models in genuine leather and in the millerighe line, often branded with the iconic diagonal "G" monogram.
